Dana A. Stamps

Dana began his career as a general laborer with General Motors at the Delco Moraine Division in Dayton. He then got his realtor's license and ran a successful real estate business. He worked in the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office from 1979 to 1985. As Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, Dana served as Team Leader and Director of the Fraud Division where he was honored by local Senior Citizens after successfully prosecuting criminals who defrauded seniors out of their life savings.

In 1987, Dana successfully ran for Montgomery County Auditor. As County Auditor, he returned over half a million dollars in Real Estate taxes to local schools and governmental entities in 1989. He recovered over $400,000 to the General Fund through establishment of the Real Estate Compliance Unit.

Today, Dana is in private law practice with his son Eric at Stamps & Stamps Law Offices at 3814 Little York Road. Over the past twenty years, thousands of clients in the Vandalia and greater Miami Valley area have come to know and trust Dana Stamps as he has represented them in civil and criminal litigation and probate matters.
